Hands-On Workshop: Starting Your Own Garden Plants
This hands-on workshop is for students who want to learn how to grow their own vegetable and herb plants for their home gardens. Attendees will plant several seed flats with vegetable and herb seeds, and learn how to transplant seedlings into larger pots. During the workshop we will review planting schedules, learn best practices for starting and growing on, and hardening off plants before transplanting them into the garden. Attendees will take home the vegetables and herbs that they have transplanted, for use in their own home garden.
